Congress finally seems to appear that they don't like being lied to. Wait, don't think for one minute it is the Iraq War lies. It was the dreaded Rafeal Palmeiro, the First Baseman for the Baltimore Orioles.
Remember, Palmeiro testified before Congress that he did not take steroids. Well, surprise, he tested for steroids. So now Congress is considering charging Palmeiro with perjury.
"If we did nothing," he (Rep. Tom Davis) added, "I think we'd look like idiots. Don't you?"
Really?
In my own personnal opinion, I think Congress already looks like a bunch of fools for not doing anything about all the lies that got us to Iraq and killed over 1800 American soldiers and God only knows how many Iraqis.
That alone has done more damage to America, than a guy that took a drug so he could hit a ball farther.
So with all do respect, Mr. Davis, you already look like a idiot in many Americans eyes. It is just par for the course.
